ABOUT / BROWSER TOOLS
SMALL TOOLS.
CLEAR PURPOSE.
Browser Tools is a growing collection of focused browser utilities designed to solve everyday tasks without unnecessary accounts, dashboards, or uploads.
khh go
khh go independently builds, tests, and maintains Browser Tools, including product decisions, browser compatibility checks, and bug fixes.
khh901001@proton.meWHY THIS SITE EXISTS
Many simple tasks are routed through services that ask users to upload documents, create accounts, or hand over more information than the task requires. Browser Tools takes a smaller approach: open a tool, complete the task, and leave.
BROWSER-FIRST BY DESIGN
PDF and image processing, file hashing, QR generation, path editing, and everyday calculations are performed in the browser. The focus timer also runs locally and remembers its state on the same device.
WHAT WE VALUE
The project is guided by three ideas:
- Useful tools should be understandable at a glance.
- Private files should stay on the user's device whenever the task allows it.
- A tool should remain usable before visual decoration or advertising is considered.
CURRENT TOOLKIT
The collection includes PDF merge, split, page organization, PDF-image conversion, an image toolkit, file hashing, QR generation, a focus timer, a multi calculator, and a desktop path editor.
TESTING AND MAINTENANCE
Each release is checked through its complete browser workflow: selecting input, changing options, producing an output, and reopening or inspecting that output where applicable. Browser behavior and file complexity vary, so the original file should always be kept until a result has been reviewed. Compatibility notes and known limits are documented in the tool guides and FAQ.
ORIGINAL FIELD GUIDES
The Learn library documents specific problems observed in browser-based PDF, image, and file workflows. Each guide distinguishes symptoms from likely causes, provides checks that do not modify the source file, and states what the tool cannot prove or preserve.
