PRIVACY POLICY
This policy explains what the current Browser Tools website processes, what may be stored on your device, and how third-party resources and advertising may process technical information.

FILES AND TOOL INPUTS
PDF documents, images, files selected for hashing, and text entered for QR generation are processed in the browser. These tools do not send that working content to the application server. Temporary working data is normally cleared when the page closes.
LOCAL BROWSER STORAGE
The focus timer may use local browser storage to preserve timer state on the same device. You can remove this information by clearing site data in your browser.
CALCULATIONS
Values entered in the multi calculator are calculated in the browser and are not submitted to an application endpoint.
HOSTING AND TECHNICAL LOGS
When the site is publicly hosted, the hosting provider may process standard request information such as IP address, browser type, requested URL, timestamps, and security logs. This information may be required to deliver, protect, and diagnose the website.
USAGE STATISTICS
When usage tracking is enabled, we count visit sessions and successful tool operations reported by the browser. A first-party cookie, bt_usage_session, prevents page navigation and refreshes from adding another visit within 30 minutes of activity. Returning sessions are included; these are not unique-person counts. Our server sends only random event IDs, event type and tool name to a private Google Sheet through Apps Script. Google adds a receipt timestamp; daily and cumulative totals are retained. These statistics do not contain file names, file contents, QR text, checksums, or IP addresses. Standard hosting logs remain separate. The numbers are operational usage counts, not audited audience measurements.
PAGE USAGE STATISTICS
The site records page path, referring site domain, traffic-source category, device class, page language, an anonymous per-tab session identifier, and an approximate country code inferred from your browser language in a private Google Sheet managed by the operator. The page URL query string, IP address, file contents, file names, and tool inputs are not included in these analytics events. Browser language does not always indicate your actual country.
ADSTERRA ADVERTISING AND YOUR CHOICES
We offer an optional Adsterra banner. Before using the tools, choose Accept advertising cookies or Reject advertising cookies in the bottom prompt. Either choice gives access to all tools. Privacy, terms and contact pages remain accessible before choosing. The advertising delivery script is loaded from highrevenueformat.com only after you allow advertising. Adsterra and its advertising partners may process your IP address, device and browser information, cookies and identifiers to deliver and measure advertisements. Our integration does not send selected file contents as advertising parameters. We store your choice in the cookie bt_ad_choice_v1. Permission is stored for up to 400 days and renewed when you visit a page. Refusal is stored for 24 hours without renewal; after it expires, your next page visit asks again. Your browser may remove or expire cookies earlier. Clearing cookies also removes your choice. Select Turn off advertising below a loaded banner to stop further ad loading by reloading the page. When advertising is off, select Accept advertising cookies in the advertising area to allow it again. Previously sent information cannot be recalled; third-party cookies can be removed in your browser settings. Google AdSense and Google Ads conversion tags are disabled during this trial.
EXTERNAL RESOURCES
The current interface loads font resources from Google Fonts. Requests for these resources may disclose standard connection information, including an IP address, to the resource provider.
DATA SALES AND USER ACCOUNTS
Browser Tools does not currently provide user accounts and does not sell the PDF, image, checksum, QR, timer, or calculation contents users process in the tools.
CHILDREN
The service is a general-purpose utility site and is not designed to collect personal information from children.
POLICY CHANGES
This policy may be revised when hosting, analytics, advertising, contact methods, or tool behavior changes. The updated date will be changed when material revisions are published.
